When the Hai Geng Government wanted to refurbish their conference centre swimming pool , they were looking for an economical and efficient system to filter and heat the water. Although there were a few companies tendering for this commission, Waterco’s range of high quality products, cutting edge technology combined with manufacturing expertise was the clear winner. Through a series of consultations nine ElectroHeat Plus 150 heat pumps were chosen as the most effective way of heating the large volume of water.  The Electroheat range produce up to 5 times more heat energy than the electrical energy it consumes meaning they are a great cost effective solution to heating swimming pools and are even more advantageous on large commercial pools. “It’s always rewarding to be involved in commercial installations as it gives us an opportunity to supply the larger equipment from our range and the results are really impressive” comments Tony Fisher.

The heat pumps were used in conjunction with three Waterco gel coat Hydron M2500 horizontal filters and three Micron S1200 top mount bobbin wound filters with 16 Supatuf pumps to provide the correct turnover of water. Micron fiberglass filters embody the latest in fiberglass winding technology. Waterco’s digitally controlled filament winding machines faultlessly winds continuous strands of high quality fibreglass filament under controlled tension to create a seamless one – piece vessel with refined consistency and superior quality.
